Struggling to make music, recording multiple channels and instruments and can’t get a mix I like. Maybe one day those sounds will find the light of day. For now, here’s a new live jam with two Nintendo DS running the Korg DS-10 software, along with being reunited with an old toy – the Roland VT-3 Voice Transformer, and some wonky effects from a poorly cabled Kaoss Pad Mini and the same Zoom effects unit Trent Reznor used for Broken and apparently almost every channel on the Downward Spiral
– the humble 9030.
After a short and basic programming at both 60 and 120 BPM on the Nintendos, the rest was live recorded in one take.
Apologies to my neighbours – they only heard the vocal part!
