. . .
Funny how we make things and forget them. Below is a soundscape I made on the plane back from Norway after birthing my first shamanic drum – just a collection of ambiences I recorded whilst I was there, interspersed together.
In other news, my first album recorded back in 2013 has had some mixing love from Ingi Thorisson in Reykjavik and mastering love from Toby Borrow in Australia – he uses outboard compressors and EQs for his mastering work.
The remastered album is now available through all streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Youtube etc etc) with some delightful new artwork from Rebecca Ramnauth.
It will be released again through Bandcamp on the 5th of February when they’re having a fee waiver day – all my work on Bandcamp is available for free, but there is an option to buy on there too, so Friday the 5th from Midnight to Midnight (Pacific time), any sales will go further on fee-free-Fridays when they occasionally remove their fees so artists can get more support from their fans during difficult times such as these.
The album was released on New Year’s Eve just passed, and I forgot to post on here about it!
It’s pretty cool to hear those songs now they’ve had a little polish, and I hope you get a kick out of them too!
Here’s Fever Dreams, the remix album of Ditch House on Bandcamp – Buy it!
